Christmas

And so the day is fast approaching. I finally got just about all my shopping done. After the busyness of life and two jobs, I'm tired and looking forward to my long vacation in January. Some might wonder why I have so much cynicism toward the holidays. Well, here's the thing, it's not Christmas in itself I hate, but all the hustle and bustle, the commercialism, etc. If I really thought of how Christmas should be I'd prefer a Charles Dickens atmosphere over a crazy Black Friday mob in a corporate environment. Though I have to admit all this craziness has helped pay the bills for me with one of my jobs being with a delivery company and the other being retail. I least I have work. There's a video on the internet which advertises a Jesus action figure, which though funny is rather offensive. But it does show the rediculousness of Christian consumerism. Prophecy at IHOP

So today was an interesting day for me. First I came to what appeared at first to be a normal Worship with the Word session on Colossians 3. Then they got onto appearing with Christ in glory, and people started laughing and groaning. Then they sang prophetically about the husband and wife joined together, and how we're enjoying the new wine, and all chaos broke loose, basically like the awakening meeting, but in the prayer room, which is normally where people sit and read their Bibles or dink around on computers. Hey, who let one of the ballet dancers out of their little area? I also thought it was interesting that it was about 9 in the morning. I texted Pastor and said the prayer room has gone bonkers. A few days ago I heard about how to email the prophetic team and so I thought what the heck I'll try it.
